One of my absolute favourite subjects to photograph are relationships between fathers and their daughters and/or sons. Often times, dads don’t get the recognition they deserve so today Andrea Rees Photography is honouring Dads. I see a lot of fathers in my studio and to me, they are strength, support and unconditional love. They often get dragged to photo sessions, but they do it because they LOVE their families. Many fathers are actually the ones calling me to set up a session. Dads are getting up with babies in the middle of the night and are still going to work, they’re changing diapers and kissing ‘boo boos’, they’re out there playing hide and seek, riding bikes, going on walks and giving ample hugs and kisses to their children…in public! ARP loves dads. Here are some of the dads I’ve had the honour of welcoming into my studio. So dads, Happy Father’s Day and thank you for all that you do. ps The first image is of my husband and 2 sons in the studio just 15 days after my youngest was born.
